My beautiful trip in Valloria, the village of painted doors . Italy

in TravelFeed4 years ago

Greetings to all!

My trip to Liguria took place several years ago. We rented a beautiful villa on a hill, spacious with a large well-kept garden and a green area in front of the house. We were in May, so the weather was slightly cool. Sometimes I had to wear a denim jacket and scarf to make it more comfortable. In the morning, we would gather in the garden, at a large table, have breakfast and plan our trips around Liguria. Our house was situated a few km from the city Imperia, so we went there more often for an evening walk along the embankment where there were moored yachts, to breathe the sea air and eat a portion of delicious Italian ice cream.

On one of these days, it was decided to go to a small Italian village, which was located at a distance of 14 km from Imperia. We read on the Internet that the village is ancient, belongs to the middle ages, is located on a hill. And a distinctive feature of it today is that there the doors of houses are painted by artists. We are very interested in this.

After Breakfast, we set off. The car is comfortable; the roads are good; we took water and went. On the way we see a sign- Valloria. That's where we need to go. We climb a small serpentine, and we are in place. We leave the car and go on foot. The village is tiny. The houses are all stone and grey. Ancient buildings always charm me. I immediately imagine how people lived here in the 14th-15th century. Women in long skirts, white shirts, scarves on the head. In the houses, it make all the furniture were made from wood. The pots were made from of copper. A stove heated the houses, and there was a smell of burned wood, and.

Deeply in such thoughts we approached the village, its first houses and Oh my God! What beauty!! There are so few houses, but artists paint all the doors of these houses. They come to Valloria in the summer and do their favorite art. These are proper works of art. There are copies of famous paintings and artists. There are images created by the artists themselves. The main thing is that I see they are made with such love and grace that my delight is difficult to express in words.

We walked and had fun. We coped images. Now I'm with a kiss. Then Asya, my friend, takes a berry from a saucer or scratches the cat's neck. Mom and Giuseppe are dancing. I leaned against the wall like a girl in a painting. Many photos were taken, but I can't find the flash drive. I can only show a very few photos from my personal album. And it is not quite possible to convey the beauty of this place because of the lost material. And yet the main task was to share with you information about this exceptional place in Italian Liguria. The nature there is beautiful and in good weather you can see Corsica from the hill of Valloria.

While we were walking there, we didn't meet any residents. There were no tourists either. We were lucky, no one interfered with us and we could wander there as much as we wanted. We got a lot of satisfaction from our trip. For me, this is like an open-air Museum, art exhibition or a gallery. What happy people live there, every day contemplating this beauty! And I will be happy if any of you want to visit this wonderful place in Liguria. I am sure that you will have the most unforgettable impressions and you will be able to share them with your friends, as I have done now.
