[London] Day2 (1)-Buckingham Palace Guardsman Ceremony / St. James's Park / Horseguards
Harry Potter City, London, Birmingham Palace Guardsman / St. James's Park Hoseguard
Hello. Sierra J is :-)
As I traveled to London, I think that people's memories are not very reliable.
Until just after my trip to London,
Where did I take the bus
How much did I buy this stuff, etc .. I remember everything in detail.
I always thought I was confident enough to remember
Wow .... It's been a few days, but ... The memory gets blurry.
Of course, I remember where I went and what I bought, but there were things that were missing in the middle.
It makes sense to say that people only remember what they want to remember. Unrelenting
Looking back, I saw a lot of things in a short schedule.
The second day of a full-scale trip could not be included in one post.
The course I have created is a short walk, and it is a schedule that can be enjoyed by transportation.
AM 09:00-AM 09:30 | Departure: Arrival at Victoria Station-Buckingham Palace
There may be reasons for falling asleep early the day before, but London is rising so fast. After 4 o'clock in the morning, the sunlight came into the window and I couldn't sleep long.
Victoria Station was a 5-minute walk from the property, making it easy to get started.
15 minutes walk from Victoria Station to Buckingham Palace .
We took halfway photos, took a souvenir shop and took a leisurely 30 minute walk.
Buckingham Palace, I thought it was a tall and colorful building.
The building was not taller than I thought.
The Guardsman Ceremony began in earnest from 10:50 am, so we are
I spent time walking and taking pictures at Green Park.
There weren't many people like us walking around in the park behind Buckingham, but it was better.
Birmingham Palace Square to get the hot sunlight intact? Spend some time at the park rather than cool!
Sit on a park bench and relax for a while!
Like my papa paparazzi, like a photographer
Among them, there is a picture that is so dry!
I want to convey the peace and beauty I felt at Green Park.
The picture does not seem to follow the human eye either. (I should change to a good lens ...)
Take a stroll through the green park and come back to Buckingham Palace.
Actually, this photo is really dangerous and I took a photo
Later on, when the guards shift, they all look up there to see better.
AM 10:30 | Buckingham Palace Guardsman Ceremony
Decided to see the Guardsman Ceremony at the Monument to Queen Victoria in front of Buckingham Palace!
((I will introduce it in the TIP below, but I think this is a good decision.)
Guards parades and shifts are in the following order: Please note that the pictures I took in the middle enter!
Order of Shifting Hourly
10:50 A lifeguard emerges from Buckingham Palace and passes through the mall and marches to Horseguards
1:00 Part of the military band from Wellington Barracks marches to Buckingham Palace
11:15 Guardsmen depart from St. James's Palace, march through the mall and into the palace
11: 30 Guardsman from Wellington Barracks, cross the monument palace and march to the palace through the right door
11: 40 shift ceremony in front of the palace
12: 00 The front gate opens and the guards march to the Wellington Barracks with the band
12: 20 After the shift at Hosgaz, the Guard mounted a march through the mall to the palace.
When I was in school, London always had bad weather, it rained often, and everything was wrong.
London has such a sunny day !!! This is why field trips seem to be important!
Cut in front of Queen Victoria's monument
My mom and I came out very small
This monument gives me space, so I think it's best to go around and watch here instead of just staying in one place and watching the shift!
Requirements Photographed behind Buckyham Palace, the Queen Victoria Monument is right in the center?
Before starting the guard shift,
The police on these horses wander and restrict the passage.
It's just a police officer riding a horse
The first part of the military band departs from Wellington Barracks and marches to Buckingham Palace.
The military band appeared in the direction from Victoria station!
Even though it's a daily schedule, it doesn't mess with anything.
It was great to listen to the military band all year round.
Oh, I'm in England! Want
Are you cool marching in step?
Marching to the mall with this state!
If you pass by once, break for a few minutes
You have to wait for the next march.
There are so many people around the square!
These awesome horsemen march out of Buckingham's right.
Maybe it's going to shift to Horseguards.
Horsemen riding on shiny black horses disappear.
Ah .. I want to learn horse riding.
Another few minutes passed.
This time another military band marches in the direction of the mall.
The military band turns around the monument and enters the left door of Buckingham Palace.
And this band is playing in front of the palace throughout the shift.
It was really amazing ..
I played many songs
Happy birthday song, HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Why is this amazing ... ???
This was my birthday !!!!!!!!!
I'm in a foreign country and there's a time difference
When I woke up on the morning of birthday, my heart was so sad that nobody was celebrating
I was so happy that the military bands played happy birthday songs !!!
I would always think it's just for me !!!!!
Dad said he put the application song.
British traditions
Guardsmen in red coats and black haired hats enter the door to the right of Buckingham Palace
The palace's front door opens and a group of soldiers meet and celebrate
And the shift is over.
Take a picture next to the shifting soldiers!
I'm so excited to see double chin
It really became an unforgettable memory.
The next time I go to London, I want to see the Guardsman again.
My friend visited a few days before me, and then they marched to the Queen of England.
I was lucky that day was something special. ^. ^
TIP
⊙ way to see inside Buckingham Palace
Admission to the palace is available from August to September (schedule changes every year). Admission Time 09:45 ~ 15:15 / Inside the palace is open until 18:00. Admission fee: Adults £ 14 / Children £ 8 (prices may vary).
- Go out early in the morning and see the inside of Buckingham Palace and watch the shift of the guards!
⊙ Where is the best place to see the guards ceremony?
The Guardsman Ceremony began around 10 o'clock, and people began to take their place.
Once started, it would be better to appoint one place because movement between the streets is controlled, but we were inside the Queen Victoria Monument in the middle of the road, so we could see the guards coming from place to place within the round monument. It was also possible to move inside the memorial boat, so if you wanted to see a guard near you, you could go and see it right away.
PM 12:30 | St. James's Park Walk to Horseshoe
At the end of the Guardsman's Ceremony, many of them disperse and most walk to the mall.
We also planned to just walk along the mall, and there was a nice park next door. It turns out that St. James's Park!
It was so nice to have such a green park in the middle of the city.
Lake? It was better to have a pond
British people enjoying the leisurely sun
I couldn't see it, but I saw my sisters sunbathing in bikinis.
London doesn't have a good time like this
A bird I have never seen in Korea
Is your foot so amazing?
It's about the size of a chicken
So cute duckling? Wild goose? What?
Anyway, it was so cute
This is the basic atmosphere.
If it's time, I think it's a good time to relax.
We were so hungry that we were busy looking around and walking
Mom clicks on pretty flowers
You should actually see this
Green trees, fountains and a distant palace? There's a St. James Palace, is it there?
When I travel to London, I really recommend June in Korea!
I finished my walk in St. James' Park.
PM 13:00 | Arrive at Horseguards
We thought if we crossed St. James's Park, the London Eye would come out right away.
I found out that Horse Guards.
Because it was hose guard who was in schedule, it is fun to watch !!!
The reason I really wanted to see this place was because I wanted to take a picture next to the Guardian Maltan.
Here is the exit of St. James's Spat with the Horseguards behind.
Really big square? Come out.
You can cross it and enter the middle door.
It was my heart when I started blogging ...
I keep revealing my face ........
The soldier next to me is really conquered in hot weather
I keep walking with something like that heavy boots?
I keep walking back and forth about 3 meters long When I came next to the soldier!
This soldier keeps wandering from place to place.
When you've stopped for a few minutes at a certain place, everybody
It was taken with a mobile phone, but you know how strong the sunlight is.
This is the end of the Horse Guards tour of Maltan soldiers guarding the door.
That's all for today !
This is the schedule from morning till lunch.
There are so many places that I haven't been able to go all day.
The next post will be scheduled for the second afternoon in London! Please look forward to it too !!!
