MeeNa Cafe — a cafe in a Thai rice field!

Who ever heard of a cafe in the middle of a rice field? Well that is what you will find if you go to the MeeNa Cafe in Thailand. Meena Cafe is location in Tha Muang District. Kanchanaburi province. This oasis in the middle of a rice field is an hour plus drive from Bangkok.
This is a place to go to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life. MeeNa is located behind a very famous Thai Temple (Wat Tham Sua). The area around the temple is filled with rolling rice fields.
There are outdoor areas to sit and view and then there are cooler inside areas for you to sit and enjoy your cold Thai tea or favorite beverage.
This is all about the feeling of quiet and calm. I was with my family but it felt like we were to ourselves and alone in the rice field with the comforts of food and drink.
The areas for children to play and move about are very simple and yet they enjoyed it very much. It was quite hot that day, so the children would play a bit and then come join us to cool off and have something cool to drink.
Of course many people come to visit the Temple and pray. The Cafe is was the surprise. My expectations were low and here we found a little gem which I think many people would enjoy as well. Thank you for reading and learning a little more about the MeeNa Cafe.
