Jantar Mantar Man Mandir

Jantar Mantar is the largest stone temple in the world. It is located behind the City Palace. It was built in 1838 by Maharaja Joy Singh. He himself was a famous astronomer. This temple proves its extraordinary power in astronomy.

To the north-east of this temple is a nicely arranged garden. Next to this garden are the tombs of Jaysingh and other members of the royal family. Every year thousands of tourists come to see this famous standard temple.
