Welcome! This time I wanted to show you the ski jump in the city of Wisła. Here are my memories of August 28, 2019. I invite you to read.

This trip is a continuation of my last trip to Ustroń. Returning from this city, I was traveling through the beautiful mountain town of Wisła, whose main tourist attraction is the ski jump of Adam Małysz. This is a large ski jump with construction point K120 and size HS 134 meters. Object is located at an altitude of about 620 m a.s.l. It is the second largest ski jump in Poland after the so-called The Great Krokiew in Zakopane. Let's watch it closely!

There were no competitions that day, so you could see the object up close. Parking lot of object on a normal day is free. To get to the top of the hill you have to use the ski lift. A two sides ticket costs around $3. The lift chairs are double and the ride upstairs can be terrible for people with fear of heights. At the top you can enter the tower from which the competitors start jumping. Entrance to the observation deck (from the photos above) costs $1. From the terrace we have great views. You have to be really brave to jump on such large objects. Standing here causes fear of heights.

After going down to the parking lot, I decided to look at the object from the side of tribune (photos above). There are over 1,200 seats and 8,000 standing places. In summer the jump is equipped with a plastic surface. Ski jumping world cup competitions have been held here since 2008. The record for the jump length on this hill is 139 meters and belongs to Stefan Kraft (Austria). The live hill is more impressive than on television during the competition. I recommend everyone to see this object up close. Greetings to all who love traveling!
