Recuerdo que era un día como cualquier otro para mí, era un jueves, y estaba en el Terminal de Pasajeros de mi ciudad natal, Maracaibo, comprando los boletos para pasar la noche viajando vía a la Ciudad de Mérida, la Ciudad de los Caballeros le llaman acá, para realizar un papeleo para un cliente de mi trabajo de ese momento, asistente jurídico. Logré comprar los pasajes y me embarqué en el bus, así comenzó la aventura.

I remember that it was a day like any other for me, it was a Thursday, and I was at the Passenger Terminal in my hometown, Maracaibo, buying tickets to spend the night traveling via the City of Merida, the City of the Knights call you here, to perform a paperwork for a client of my work at that time, legal assistant. Luego de dormir casi todo el viaje de ida -tengo ese grave defecto-, llegué al Terminal de Pasajeros de la ciudad de Mérida y me directo a donde debía hacer el papeleo ese viernes de octubre, si mal no recuerdo el mes y al finalizar, comencé a caminar por la ciudad debido a que debía hacer tiempo, el bus para Mesa Bolívar salía a las cuatro (4) de la tarde y eran, más o menos, las diez (10) de la mañana apenas.

After sleeping almost the whole trip -I have that serious defect-, I arrived at the Passenger Terminal in the city of Merida and went straight to where I had to do the paperwork that Friday of October, if I remember correctly the month and at the end, I started to walk around the city because I had to make time, the bus for Mesa Bolivar left at four (4) in the afternoon and it was, more or less, ten (10) in the morning just.

La ciudad de Mérida, como pudieron ver en el mapa anterior, es la ciudad capital del municipio Libertador, y su nombre completo es "Santiago de Los Caballeros de Mérida" y es una de las principales localidades de los andes venezolanos. Siguiendo con mi aventura: Comencé a caminar, a conocer. Pasee por varias calles de la ciudad, conocí gente y hasta perritos en una plaza, muy bonitos para ser perritos callejeros, por cierto. Aquí les dejo las fotos de ese día.

Al final, terminé en el Terminal de Pasajeros como a las tres (3) de la tarde y mientras esperaba la hora de salida del bus, caminé por la parte de atrás del terminal y tomé las siguientes fotografías.

Mérida es una ciudad hermosa. Su gente es muy amable, muy atenta. Deseo volver pronto y reencontrarme con ella, caminar sus calles y conocerla mejor, con más tiempo.
