Reflections in puddles at sunset

Spring is gaining momentum more and more. It is still quite cold at night and the temperature drops to minus marks, but in the daytime the sun heats everything around very decently and the snow melts very quickly.

In the evening I went for a walk along the Volga embankment in the city of Kostroma.

This is a beautiful place with a wonderful view of the Volga. After sunset, lanterns were lit along the embankment and the yellow-orange sunset looked especially good with the white lanterns.

Melting snows leave large puddles in their place. Puddles are, on the one hand, a big inconvenience. In some places, it is impossible to walk along the path, because instead of the path, the water surface spills in front of you. On the other hand, it is a joy for children who love to walk in puddles. And also, puddles are big beautiful mirrors. The sky and lanterns are reflected in them.

It is very beautiful and adds charm to the evening views of the waterfront.

While the sun was over the horizon, there were a lot of people on the embankment taking pictures against the sunset. Girls in whole flocks grouped in different places to pose in the warm sun.

Most of them used mobile phones for shooting.

I with my canon 5d mkII looked like a dinosaur in the age of mammals. But what difference does it make which camera you use? Yes, no. Each tool has its own capabilities and I use my abilities to apply these capabilities to get the photo I want.

I wanted to get reflections in the puddles and that's why I came here. The setting sun is a nice bonus. And here's what happened.
