Evening on the Volga

Blue sky in the hour before the night
Autumn again and the sun began to hide behind the horizon earlier, shortening daylight hours. If in the summer I could not wait for the sunset, now I do not have time to come to the bank of the Volga to enjoy this spectacle.
I came ashore late and only had time to see the reflection of yellow in the west. But even after sunset, it's a beautiful time to shoot. The sky turns blue and colorful clouds are visible in it, illuminated by the distant sun.
The world is also decorated with electric lights of cities. Their reflections in the water create a festive atmosphere.
The restaurant on the water shines especially brightly. The restaurant is located on the old landing stage. You can hear the music playing in the restaurant.
It's warm outside and I can hear mosquitoes squealing around me. Insects prevent me from focusing on shooting.
The thing is, I left the house without a tripod. This means that increasing exposure to borderline values makes me literally not breathe. I have to freeze, holding the camera so that it doesn't move.
The sky turns more and more blue and even begins to blacken. It's time to go home.
It was a pleasant walk along the banks of the Volga in the center of the city of Kostroma in the very beginning of autumn.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, I was not able to go on vacation anywhere to the sea. The lack of rest at sea is somehow compensated by walks in the vicinity of my hometown. We are also very beautiful, but only we are already accustomed to our beauty. I want new sensations and impressions.
Such evening walks sometimes bring a fresh sense of beauty and distract from the problems in life. Looking at a spectacular sunset or a quiet surface of water at dusk makes your soul warmer and life becomes easier.
I hope that the photos from this walk will give the viewers the opportunity to feel calm and quiet joy.
Beautiful blue light shots... I haven't used Travel feed in awhile - getting used to it! :)
