In All Their Magnificence 🗻❄️

Some pictures from one of my trips to Jammu & Kashmir nearly a decade ago. We have enough time in our hands these days especially to do things like looking at photo albums (non-digital). I love do to that with my loved ones. These are some of my best travel memories too because obviously it was in a cold place. Snow fights, skiing, hot tea and noodles in icy winds..! What's not to love?

I remember looking for a hotel as it was way past midnight by the time we got to Rohtang. And I don’t even remember what the temperatures were.. all I remember is the unsettling feeling in my body. But luckily we found one of the best, if not THE best place you can ask for! The heating system placed below the mattress was a heavenly experience, especially after a long drive. I would love to go back to that little hotel only for that experience! :D

The morning after, I drew the curtains, this was the view right in front of me and well... rest is history! ☺️
