Billion Shades Of Green! 🌲🍃☘️

Two days ago, I shared some pictures of Flora from the state of Himachal Pradesh, India when I was on a trek. Today I thought of putting up some gorgeous moments from the jungles of the route. The first picture is of one of the most beautiful mornings of my life, when we were just prepping for the day's trek. And obviously we were sleepy and tired. This view was equivalent to 10 cups of tea for me as it filled me up with so much energy.

I didn’t even know what was in store for the next week because all I kept thinking was "Wow, it cannot get more beautiful than this". Could I have BEEN more wrong? These are some of the stunning views from the rest of the trek whenever we had to go through a forest or a dense area of trees. With a cute hilly doggie too, who followed us during the entire trek! ❤️

I had this notion about treks that they are usually done to reach a summit or a marked destination and that's it. But this one experience broke all the existing ideas in my head and I saw what it was all about. "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey" had manifested right in front of me!!! I truly understood the meaning behind this famous quote hahhah. The Roopkund trek is known for it's mysterious lake near the summit point as it is also frozen during winters. Mysterious because there are loads of skeletons in and around the lake. (Refer to Wikipediafor more info)

And obviously we were psyched to see it. But the 4 days prior to that were just treat over treat! We crossed water bodies, flower valleys, steep climbs, fog, rains, harsh winds, even rainbows at some point... a whole range of emotional experiences! I am probably gonna go find those shots and come back with them tomorrow 🧡
