Of course crypto should be legalized in a country. There are many possible explanations for this, one of the main reasons being that we know crypto has the potential to be our future currency. Now the point is that over time if we don't get familiar with crypto we will lag behind all the other countries that have already started using crypto. To give a small example, the first country that comes to mind is El Salvador, which has declared Bitcoin as its national currency and recently taught its students how to mine Bitcoin in their schools.
