Hi Tron fans, in this post I will answering questions from the five tutorials provided by @engrsayful which I must say was great idea to introduce people who are not familiar with Tron Blockchain to have the basic knowledge on how Tron works.

Now I will answer the questions base on my understanding.

Q1. Why and how Steemit Users are getting TRX?

Answer

On February 2020, Justin sun the founder of TRON Blockchain, brought Steemit with the aim of expending Tron Blockchain ecosystem. With the integration of both Steemit and Tron blockchains, Steemit users are able to earn Tron native coin which is TRX. Author and curators earn TRX on Steemit platform the same ratio as steem power.

After posting, an author gets one-fourth (1/4) each on his/her post reward in Steem Power (SP) and Steem Dollar (SBD) after 7 days. But curators reward is only in Steem power. So after 7 days, the post expire and the author claim his/her reward including TRX in the same ratio as Steem power.

Q2. How can you create a TRON account?

Answer

To create a Tron account is a four easy step procedure which I will be explaining below:

• Step 1: You need to go to your steemit wallet and login with your account details which are account name and private active key. Example is shown below.

• Step 2: Locate where your TRX token is which is usually located at the bottom of your wallet before your wallet history. Example is shown below.

• Step 3: Click on CREATE NEW TRON ACCOUNT. A new interface will appear with an option of Create and Download. Click on that option and you just create a Tron account.

NOTE: I already have a Tron account so I will not be creating another one.

• Step 4: While creating your new Tron account you will download a PDF file where your Public and Private keys are stored. Make sure your keys are well secure and within your reach because losing them will be very costly. They is no way you can retrieve them which means everything on your wallet is lost. I will advise you store them on cloud.

Note: Your Tron public key is always visible on your steemit wallet under the Tron section.

Q3. How can you link your existing Tron account with Steemit?

Answer

To link your existing Tron account with steemit the first procedure is similar with creating a Tron account.

• Step 1: Go to your steemit account wallet and login your account details. After you have login now locate and click on LINK AN EXISTING TRON ACCOUNT usually found at the bottom of your wallet before your account history.

• Step 2: After you have click on the above option, a new interface will appear with some instructions, make sure you carefully read through all the instructions, after reading them click on Confirm.

• Step 3: After you have click on Confirm, a new interface with a space that says “Enter the Tron account address you wish to link”.

• Step 4: After you have successfully input your Tron address, a new interface will appear with your account name and requesting for your Active or Owners or Master key to successfully link your account

Since I have already linked my account they is no need to link them again.

After you have successfully created or linked your Tron account to your steemit wallet, Now you can see your TRX token you got as reward from steemit platform in your Tron wallet where you can swap, stake, send and withdraw for another token as shown below.

Q4. Explain mining system of Tron Blockchain.

Answer

Tron uses Proof of Stake (POS) mining system. This type of system gives all power to people with the highest amount of stack. In Tron blockchain case, the first 27 people with the highest stake are allow to mine TRX. These highest stake holder are called Super-Representative and the list is been updated every 6 hours. Super-Representative are not allow to invest they own token but rather are allow to get TRX from normal TRX holder.

So what happen after is that, ordinary TRX holder can join any Super-Representative and mine indirectly. Doing it this way nobody will feel left out of cheated. So if you have let say 1000 TRX, you will be able to vote 10 Super-Representative because each vote cause 100 TRX. After voting your 1000 TRX will be frozen for 72 hours (3 days) and a new Super-Representative will be selected.

Now, it depending on how many member you voted for was selected as a Super-Representative that is the amount of coin you will be able to mine. Let say for example 8 were selected among the 10 as a Super-Representative. Those 8 will use your 800 TRX to mine and at the end of the mining operation you will get your share as a, let me call it investment and you as an investor.

Q5. How many TRX will be given to a Super-Representative for 6 hours?

Answer

So according to my understanding the Super-Representative get rewarded for both Voting and for each Block Production. So I will calculate each differently.

Let start with Voting Reward: As we all know for each block is 160 TRX form vote reward and every 3 second a block is produced. And it takes 6 hours before the Super-Representative list is updated.

60 second is 1 minute and 60 minutes is 1 hour which is for 6 hours = 60 × 60 × 6 ==> 21,600 now divide by the time it take to process a block 21,600 ÷ 3 = 7,200.

7,200 blocks are produced. Now a block is 160 TRX in voting reward now let calculate the total amount of TRX for 6 hours.
7,200 × 160 = 1,152,000 TRX

So Super-Representatives and 100 Partners gets 20% of 1,152,000 TRX form voting reward.
20% of 1,152,000 = 230,400 TRX
Dividing 230,400 by 127 = 1,814.1732 TRX for each SR

Now let calculate the Block Production Reward: We know each block cost 16 TRX when produce. And from our above calculation we know 7,200 blocks are produced within the space of 6 hours.
7,200 × 16 = 115,200 TRX

So Super-Representatives gets 20% of 115,200 TRX form block production reward.
20% of 115,200 = 23,040 TRX
Dividing 23,040 by 27 = 853.3333 TRX for each SR

Now to calculate the total reward each SR get we need to add both Voting Reward and Block Production Reward.

1,814.1732 + 853.3333 = 2,667.5065 TRX

In conclusion 2,667.5065 TRX will be awarded for each Super-Representative in the period of 6 hours.
