As we look to the future, it's proven that blockchain will continue to change the world by playing a role in many sectors like business, securing data, and establishing trust. Different blockchains often operate in making it difficult for them to communicate and share data. Interoperability solutions are emerging to bridge this gap.
Projects like Polkadot and Cosmos aim to create a framework where multiple blockchains can interact seamlessly. This will pave the way for a more interconnected and efficient blockchain system.
Scalability has been a long-standing issue for blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. This is the main problem with Blockchain and crypto-based technology. These networks often struggle to handle a high volume of transactions quickly and cost-effectively but still, it is a smart technology for its innovative features. To address this scalability issue we are witnessing the rise of Layer 2 solutions like Lightning Network for Bitcoin and Ethereum's transition to Ethereum 2.0.

Digital identity solutions powered by blockchain are gaining popularity as well. Here individuals have control over their personal information and this reduces the need for centralized identity providers. Blockchain-based digital identity is likely to become a cornerstone of online interactions and transactions. The tokenization of real-world assets is another promising area for blockchain technology. By representing these assets as tokens on a blockchain, they become easily tradable. This is a new opportunity and dimension for investment and liquidity in traditionally illiquid markets.
