I was thinking about what to start with this community post, then I thought delegation is a very important thing on this platform, so today I am posting on this topic.
What is delegation
Delegation means to represent. Giving me the power to use someone else's power, because we are all small users, we can't give a big vote to one if we want to, but if all our small powers are combined, then its vote value increases a lot.In this way all of our power is used properly, and in no way is power wasted but its maximum is used correctly.
How to do it
We will take the help of a website to do this process and the name of the website is: https://steemworld.org/
When we log in to this website we may need to provide username and posting, we will log in to this website by providing the required things, or we will be able to log in to the website using only our username, in which case we will be given password later. Will be needed.
I have attached my username at the end of the website link so that I can see all my important information through this website.
Clicking on the options shown in the screenshot will take us to the Delegation option, then an interface will open for our delegation.
When this interface comes in front of us, here we have to specify who we will be delegating to, and how many delegations. I'm using the name of one of my known users for ease of understanding.
If we have not logged in to this website before, we will need to enter the password, then we will go to the website https://steemlogin.com/ by clicking on the button mentioned in the screenshot.You can trust this website.
When we use the key as we need it, an interface like this will appear in front of us, the user profile picture will appear here, we will check if everything is OK, then we will click on the Continue button.
When our transaction is complete we will go to our first website, from there we can see the status of our current account.
Later, if for any reason we have to increase the delegation, the steps we will take are shown.
This process is very simple, all we have to do is click on the edit button and edit some text, add to the amount of delegation we had before, and we will add the new amount of delegation. In other words, we have to specify the total number of delegations we want to have in the current situation.
Each time we edit, we have to complete our activities again with the same username and key, so that we can increase or decrease the amount of delegation as required.
By using this process we will be able to delegate to any new account and we will be able to increase or decrease the amount by editing any previously delegated account.
Why it is needed
We should all make maximum use of steam power, power is wasted if we do not use it, many times we do not get enough time to vote for a good post, or our vote is not worth much, so we are deprived of curation reward. It takes a lot of time to find a good post, so we need to find a user ID that votes for a good post, we will delegate an experienced user ID. In this way, we will all benefit from the maximum use of power.
