All this security method is protect owners from an unwanted access by another individuals. However, there is another method that protects a website from an automated access e.g programmed bot which is known as CAPTCHA

A Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) can be defined as a method of protecting a website from An Artificial Intelligence exploration, spamming or abuse by insisting that a user re-type a simple obscure or distorted text etc. Most time, confusing backgrounds and strikes are added to this text in some websites.

Since it invention in 2013 by John Langford, Manuel Blum and Co. (although there is another claim that it was first introduced in 1997 by Martin Abadi and co.), it has witnessed lot of criticism by website user that encounter it most especially users that have visual problems that’s why and audio plug was added to it.

It was introduced by Google in 2014 as an alternative to version 1.0 captcha as a result of criticism by people with vision problems. It usually contain pictures of which a user have to select requested picture(s) among the them. Image captcha are more complex to bots than humans. Most time, this captcha usually have an audio option.

hCAPTCHA:

It is a simple captcha that commands a user to tick a I am a human or I am not a bot box within a certain timeframe. According to reviews, this captcha is the strongest.
