What we are seeing in the crypto industry is a bottoming process and what is are seeing with FTX is very important because it is going to have a huge impact and speed up regulations in the space. For sure this is defining moment for crypto regulations but what we do not know is many aspects in going to affect it. The FTX fallout is already knocking our crypto, and the contagion effect will come out and is yet to be seen. When the world knew that there was a hole in the FTX balance sheet that was about 8 billion dollars, the institutional investors should have helped them out but they could not dues to the SEC investigation which discourage the investors.
Of course, FTX was a robust platform and well-designed and it has hundreds of millions of users. You should know that they raised billions of dollars. All these crises happening in the crypto world do not kill crypto, it is just one event that helps stabilize the crypto world. Regulations could help solve some issues in the space. I don't think any institution will put huge capital into any unregulated exchange platform again. In the case of Alameda, when building a new blockchain, you will want to more people into it and that was what Alameda was doing. They were basically supported by Solana, Polygon, and so on. There is so much Unknow in the FTX situation and watching what institutional investors do with instruction level will somehow help a little in stabilizing what the rule is going to be because crypto is definitely not going away. Many people are still interested in it and they still want to invest in it.
Ya. Many are interested in investing. It's a huge market and can not be collapsed.
