Franklin Templeton filed for Ethereum spot ETF
After Bitcoin is bought ETF approval now the next ETF which is part of the discussion in the market is Ethereum. Ethereum is the second cryptocurrency as per the market cap after Bitcoin and certainly, this is a great blockchain network where thousands of projects are built and they are running successfully. Currently, the crypto market is going through a good ride where we can see how Bitcoin price is going up and even Ethereum is following the same trend. Some people say that this is the Bitcoin spot ETF approval effect which can be possibly true as companies are buying a lot of Bitcoin from the market. The supply is limited and with an increase in demand, things are going to be more valuable.
Now if we talk about Ethereum and if in case the spot ETF is approved then imagine how things will grow like Bitcoin. We can see some fantastic price appreciation on the Ethereum coin if it happens. Franklin Templeton is one of the leading asset management companies and now they have filed for Ethereum spot ETF. This is big news because this is not the first company filing for etherium spot etf but this is certainly a popular brand coming to Crypto through etf gateway.
Looks like these asset management companies are trying to give another investing option to their customers to invest in the crypto market. Now since Bitcoin ETF is already approved and available for institutional customers to invest through this if etherium also gets approved then imagine how much volume it will generate. A lot of institutional investors will prefer going through the investment in crypto through ETF which is a legit way for them. Usually, exchanges are used by retail investors and institutional investors prefer another way since their investment volume is high.
As per the updated market, the approval or rejection for etherium spot etf is due in April month so just in case if it gets approved then it is going to create another positive momentum in the market. Let's hope that it gets approved because it can be another great value addition in the crypto space and we are going to benefit through this if it happens.
