Attention!! Massive Ledger Hack.. Be Careful

Heck is never a good experience in the crypto market, but we have to deal with this even if we do not want to. This is because it is not in our control and after a few months we get to hear something about the hack where people are affected and even some protocols are also affected because of this. The biggest news is about the massive hack on the ledger wallet. This has affected many popular DeFi protocols.

The ledger has issued a warning and even the Metamask account on Twitter and they have advised not to connect with any D app until further update. I mean to say they are asking all the users to be careful and not connect the wallet on any protocol until a further update is provided. This is a precautionary action that must be taken by every crypto user who is using the hardware wallet from the ledger. We use different applications and connect on Defi protocols.

Multiple Ethereum-based applications including Zapper, SushiSwap, Phantom, Balancer and Revoke. cash was compromised early Thursday due to a Ledger security breach. Ledger, the Paris-based crypto hardware wallet manufacturer, said it has fixed the malicious code as of 13:35 UTC

As for the NEWS UPDATE, this has happened due to a security breach on the ledger wallet. I have this hardware wallet but I'm not going to use it unless there is another update sharing the steps that should be followed to ensure the utmost safety and security of wallet and funds.

The exact region has not been shared yet and for that, we probably need to wait for some more time. Before any further update is shared by relevant accounts on social media it is highly recommended not to connect the wallet to any protocol. It is also recommended not to use other non-custodial wallets like meta mask or trust wallet etc. Basically, why take a chance when we know that things can be risky and it is related to money so taking extra precautions is always the right decision.
