In my last NFT Marketplace review, I fully discussed everything about Crypto.com NFT marketplace, how to buy, create and sell NFTs on the platform. Today I'll be discussing about Axie Infinity NFT marketplace, being the most popular play to earn game.

NFT stands for "Non-Fungible Tokens." Replaceable items are fungible. For instance, 1 BTC may theoretically be replaced by any other 1 BTC. Something is unique and cannot be replaced by any other object if it is non-fungible, the place where the NFTs can be traded (buy, sell, or mint) is called NFT Marketplace

Although NFTs and cryptocurrencies have a basic similarity, these digital assets might represent collectibles like trade cards, artwork, and antiques. For the purposes of authentication and validation, these tokens are saved on a blockchain network using cryptography.

Despite charging no fees to buyers, Axie Infinity NFT charges sellers a marketplace fee of 5.25% for each Nft sold. For instance, you would only get $95.75 for an Axie Infinity NFT that you sold for $100. The fees you should be concerned about as a buyer are the transaction fees (ETH gas fee). This implies that even if you may buy Axie Infinity NFT for the original price, you'll get less money when you decided to sell, the only way to make money is to breed your Axje infinity NFTs and sold it on the marketplace.

Buying & Selling On Axie Infinity NFT Marketplace

Go-to Axie Infinity Marketplace and login, you need to login before you can sell or buy NFTs there, there are numerous login options.

I'll be using the Ronin Wallet login option, I click on Login with Ronin wallet and I was redirected to a new page where I was instructed to download the Ronin wallet.

I click Install after being directed to the Play Store, in which the app only costs 35mb, and then Open when it has downloaded successfully.

Similar to other crypto wallets, the Ronin wallet operates in the same way, now, let proceed to creating a new Ronin wallet.

Open the wallet and click on Next and clickCreate a new wallet

Enter your preferred security pin, click "Continue," and then confirm the pin by typing it in again.

The most sensitive part is now your recovery phrase, which I'm sure you all already realize is extremely important. Copy your recovery phrase and store it somewhere secure, then click Continue

• Buying NFTs

Now that you've created a Ronin wallet, navigate back to the Axie Infinity NFT Marketplace, go-to the login option and click on Login with Ronin wallet, you'll be redirected to your Ronin mobile wallet to confirm the activity.

Now that you've given access to Axie Infinity Marketplace, select the NFT you wish to buy, if you're okay with the price, click on Buy now, and complete the transaction with your Ronin mobile wallet.

Selling NFTs

There are two ways to sell one‟s NFTs on Axie Infinity Marketplace:

Reselling: You can purchase NFTs on the market and sell them again. However, it's crucial to be aware that there is a fee of 5.25% when selling, so if you're buying to resell you need to take this into account as well. You should likely list it for sale for a higher price than you paid for it.

Breeding: You can breed in-game avatars, creatures and lands and list it for sale on the Axie Infinity Marketplace, it doesn't cost any fee apart from the transaction fee or gas fee charge by the blockchain.

Advantages & Disadvantages Of Axie Infinity NFT Marketplace

Since the Axie Infinity NFT marketplace is directly related to the game, it functions differently from other NFT markets. As a result, it's crucial to comprehend the advantages and disadvantages of the game before considering playing Axie Infinity and trading Axie NFTs.

The Advantages

• The Nft marketplace is free, and you can use your Binance account to sign in on the market place, you don't need to create any new account, as long as you've a verified Binance account you're good to go.

• Since it's a play-to-earn game, Axie Infinity allows users to play games (fun) and earn at the same time.

• On the Axie Infinity marketplace, buyers may buy their preferred NFTs without paying any marketplace fees.

• Axie Infinity enables new users to lease axies to play and so generate cash. This income is split between the player and the axies owner, benefiting both parties.

• The Axie Infinity NFT marketplace is closely connected to the game and is solely dedicated to trading items, lands, and creatures that are associated with the game. Players can make money by purchasing, exchanging, and selling NFTs on the market.

The Disadvantages

• While Axie Infinity doesn't charge a buyer fee, the situation is different for sellers, as the platform charges a huge price for those who want to sell on the NFT marketplace.

• The fact that the marketplace is only connected to the game and only allow users to trade digital assets and NFTs related to the game makes it useless for users outside the world that want to trade different NFTs interact with it.

• The only payment method is Ronin wallet, that's players need to download Ronin wallet and connect it to the platform before they can buy or sell NFTs on the marketplace.

Within a year of its release, Axie Infinity became well-known. Axie Infinity is a great choice if you enjoy playing games and you're interested in a blockchain-based P2E game. However, since the platform is limited to NFTs on the game, I'll advise trying out Binance or Crypto.com NFT marketplace if you are interested in other NFTs like digital art, music and so on.

Even though Axie Infinity is a fantastic game to try out, this does not mean that you should invest all of your money on it. It's also crucial that you conduct your own personal study on the game before devoting all of your time and money to it.
