WHO'S TO BE BLAMED FOR THE ATTACK ON SOLANA?

Hey guys,
Welcome to my blog.

Many people have accused the Solana blockchain of being to blame for the numerous wallet hacks that occurred with the Solana wallet.

It makes sense that they would blame the Solana blockchain, given that it has already had issues with blockchain time, shutdowns, and other things I'm trying to forget. As a result, it was much easy to point the finger at the blockchain when people began having their valuables stolen from their wallets.

The Solana Dapp wallet's private keys had only recently been taken over, giving these hackers access to the victims' wallets, however it turned out that the issue was only a private key exploit. Another day, another warning that other than cold wallets, your valuables are not protected by other types of wallets (offline wallet). The Solana team put in a lot of effort to pinpoint the root of the wallet exploit before deciding that it was not a blockchain problem. However, the price of Solana didn't drop considerably while they were investigating the problem. I believe it decreased by less than 4%, which was unexpected.

We are aware that any other cryptocurrency ventures would have lost their cool in Solana's situation. Numerous analyses were performed to determine the root cause of the issue. Despite the fact that centralized exchanges were forced to stop SOL deposits and withdrawals from their platforms, the price of SOL has not changed. I'm inclined to think Solana is the coin to beat given this. despite the fact that it has previously shown that it is centralized.

Solana's investigation revealed that every compromised wallet shared the trait of being made on a slope. Click here for more info.

The phantom wallet was first blamed for this since the affected wallets must have imported their wallets from slope to phantom.

In circumstances like these, people will constantly look for someone to blame. Solana asserted that the event was not related to their blockchain and blamed the slope wallet instead. Because doing so may lead to litigation from enraged investors, requiring them to pay back the lost assets, Slope hasn't fully claimed blame for it.
