The evolution in mobile games || DMC: Peak of Combat || Tron Fan Club
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat just got released for all mobile platforms only a few days ago. This game has exceeded all expectations for mobile games. I have to admit that mobile gaming has come a long way after seeing this game. Such games were only a dream to play on mobile devices a few years back. But we can now see this as a reality.
Devil May Cry game is a series mostly played on PC and playstation or Xbox. This game series has made a name for itself over the years. This game is mostly popular for it's amazing hack and slash gameplay and a great story with stunning graphics. This game features the main character Dante who is a half demon and who kills demons as a daily basis. DMC 5 was the last installment of this series and it was a major success. But nobody expected a similar game for mobile devices. But against all odds, DMC mobile version was cooking backstage and it finally got released only a few days back.

The gameplay and graphics of this game is surely nowhere near it's pc counterparts but it still has amazing graphics for a mobile game. It was only possible because of advanced and newer gen hardware and software enhancements. The game feels super smooth and the gameplay is pretty fresh. Yes, all the hack n slash with other combos cannot be executed on a mobile game. Which is why this game comes with RPG roleplaying gameplay style. There are still a lot of move-sets that can be performed in this game. Each button is used for different moves such as slice, updrift, evade etc. Those who plays rpg games will know that in such games, there is a button for a special move or a finisher. In this game, that button is used to trigger the devil trigger which is the main ability of this game's main character.

The new feature for a dmc game is that now you can switch between other characters between mid battle. There are a bunch of side characters in this game. In the PC version, you could play with one at a time or for a period of time before switching to another one. But in the mobile version, you can switch characters instantaneously.
The story of the game is similar to its PC counterparts. Suddenly bunch of monsters shows up and you have to kill them and stop them from breaking free from hell by closing the hell gate. I'm sure most of this game's story will be just like it cause that's how its usually turns out for a DMC game.

The character design team did a great job with the enemy designs in this game. Some of the foes are new and they weren't available in the older games. So, killing these new and unique enemies is a treat for a seasoned fan of the DMC series.
This game is surely a great game but it still have some setbacks. Because most mobile games like this one comes with pay to play tactics. After getting past a certain part, you won't be able to continue the story and will be severely underpowered. And the only way you will get past the obstacles is by purchasing in game upgrades and abilities with real currency. This is a method which is still holding mobile games back unfortunately.

This Peak of Combat mobile game is truly wonderful, interesting interface and all and seems to have cool features, thanks for sharing.
It looks like a fantastic game based on the details you provided however I haven't played it ever I'm not sure if I will be playing it but surely for the people who are game lovers can give it a try.
