Greetings everyone. How are you all doing? Hopefully everyone is having a good time in the community. I am also doing well alhamdulillah.
I've just came across a new game some days back. It's called Goose Goose Duck. Such a strange name for a game. So I went ahead to check it out and seems like this a game similar to Among us. Among us was a really popular game for quite some time then it went silent again. Goose Goose Duck is basically the upgrade of among us with so much more features and updates.
Two of the best thing I liked about this game is that this is a cross platform game. We can play it on androin, iphone and PC. And the other thing is the feature called proximity chat. You can communicate with other players via voice chat in this game. Voice chat is what makes this game superior to Among us. Because they both are social interaction game and you can't fully flush out the fun of this game with chat only. In order to catch the impostor you have to interact with others with voice chat. There are almost 9 maps or more in this new one. Each map is very big and are filled with various unique tasks and details. There are 50+ characters available in this game which is a good and bad at the same time. I'm coming to this point later on.
Different Game Modes
The gameplay of goose goose duck is almost similar to Among us. You have to accomplish some tasks or catch the impostor to win the game or as an impostor you have to kill off the other players in order to win the match. The impostors are called Ducks in this game in order to keep things a bit different. The crewmates are called goose. There are also some more modes to play in this game such as battle royale mode and so on. But despite having so much features, this game does not have a big fanbase and not as popular as among us. And I've found two reasons according to my taste.
Adding too many characters and too many skills has made this game kind of difficult to understand at first glance. If players find a game too difficult, they will not play it again most likely. 50+ characters each have their own abilities and tasks. So the gameplay gets quite confusing for beginners. Another reason is the tasks for crewmates/gooses are not as simple as the tasks of among us. The difficult and confusing tasks have taken out most of the fun in the game according to me. These two are the main reasons me and most of my friends didn't find any interest to play this game after one or two matches. This could be the reason this game has very few players despite having fun features and cool maps. If the overall gameplay of any game is not very fun or seems boring and confusing, the other features won't be able to sell the game to the consumers. But the bright side is this game is available for android, ios and pc for free.
