Here the plan is to buy it and sell it in a short period of time to profit.

Since swing trading is done over a short period of time, it is sometimes considered similar to day trading. But we should remember that although both swing trading and day trading are short-term approaches to investing, they differ greatly in the length of the holding period and the frequency of trades. When we hear the name day trading we can guess a little bit about its duration. It is a single day trading that involves buying and selling stocks based on the movements that occur during that session. But swing trading usually requires holding the stock for several days or weeks to exit or close the position.

To trade here you must know whether a stock is likely to go up or down. However, an important point here is that swing traders often use technical analysis to determine the likelihood of a stock going up or down through technical analysis. Technical analysis is a method of predicting stock movements using price chart trends, patterns, historical price ranges, trading volume and other factors. Although buying here with the hope of profit, many times they can become dangerous or risky. Although here returns positive results and profit is expected but sometimes it becomes risky and you may lose long term opportunities.
