It saddens my heart to relate how I have notice lots of steemians leave steemit because of the club initiative, they didn't even pause to think about the importance of building our steempower.

Well, I'm still very glad that steemians with the interest of steemit are still on the chain, and this has helped us grow well.

Many individual just want quick money but many fails to have the mindset of a business man.

Consider this illustration: As the owner of a fashion designing company, you make series of designs of clothes, ranging from the revealing ones to the unrevealing ones.

And you notice that that the tight, slim fitted clothes are very easy to make, it requires less stress and less material, but you also noticed that we are experiencing a climatic change from a hot weather to a very cold weather.

As a wise business man, you will definitely need to adjust the designs of your clothing to best suit the weather condition.
A cold weather will not be the time to create more of a slim fitted clothes, because if you do, you will end up loosing customers for that period, which will lead to loss of funds.

Or as a local footwear producer, you make quality leather shoes and you notice a change in weather from a sunny season to a rainy season.

As a local footwear maker, you should know that people in a local environment tend to put on rubber footwears on raining seasons than leather, simply because the wet environment can easily condemn the shoe.

Does this mean that you will quit producing shoes?
Of course not, all you have to do is to adjust your designs in a way that suites the demand in the market.
And you can do so by creating more of rubber shoes than leather ones

The same is applied to steemit,we have passed the erra where we solely rely on the curators without any plans of building a strong account.

Since we have the project of club initiative, it's either we choose to support it and join the moving train or be left out without getting to our destination on steemit.

It can be likened to a retail trader who sells lots of biscuits and then he notices that there's less demand on biscuits and there's a new product which has a high demand.

He will definitely purchase those items with higher demand if he wants to continues his retail trading business.

All these illustrations are just to let us see technical reasons why we should support the club status and even progress to a higher club status.

WHY SHOULD YOU UPGRADE YOUR #CLUB STATUS

There are numerous profitable reasons why a steemian should upgrade his club status, infact, I call it a win-win situation because there's no disadvantage attached to it.

• INCREASES YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING SUPPORT FROM THE CURATORS:

This is literally not new to steemians that have spent a considerable amount of time on steemit.

Asides from your Achievement 1 post, it is scarce for you to receive support from the steemcurator account, only if you have no liquid steems.

Another Important part of the #club status is that the higher your club status, the higher the voting weight you receive from the community curation team.

The above screenshot shows my discussion with a curator on the 5th of July, I wanted to know how the votes is being spread.

From the screenshot above, you can see what he said, he said if you belong to club5050 you would receive 30% upvote and if you belong to club75 you would receive 40% upvote and club100 will receive 50% upvote.

And I have noticed this same pattern with almost all curators account, even steemcurator01, the higher your club status, the higher your voting percent.

• MAKES YOU ELIGIBLE FOR BOOMING SUPPORT:

Another Importance of joining a club status is that it makes you eligible for booming support, if you don't belong to a club, you cannot be selected for booming support, it's a rule that must be obeyed.

When it comes to selection for booming support, preference will be given to those with a higher club status.
So it is advisable to Join the moving train and increase your club status.

For a team to be selected to handle the community curator account, each member should not only be a member of club5050, each member should strive to be a member of club75, take a look at what the steemit team said.

As seen above, the steemit team said that each member should at least be a member of club5050 but ideally #club75/100.
As preference will be given to teams with club75 and club100.
This shows the urgency in upgrading your club status.

Finally, when the curators teams were selected, take a look at what the steemit said:

The fact is clear that club5050 has been left behind in this race, so I advice all club5050 members to advance to #club75/100.

To show my support for steemgrowth, I have decided to power up 75% of my current liquid steem.

I have a total of 35 liquid steems, 75% of 35steems = 26.25steems.
So I decided to power up 26.5steems, just as shown below.
