The collection was released on January 4, 2023 and holders. Additionally, they can join the Memeland DAO, where they can make decisions about the DAO treasury, partnerships, and other future aspects of Memeland.

Some History of The Captainz:The Captainz NFT is the latest NFT from Memeland, a web3 venture studio developed by 9GAG, a Hong Kong-based web2 meme-centric entertainment website launched in 2008. 9GAG announced its move to Web3 with Memeland in April 2022. Hong Kong businessman Ray Chan is the founder and CEO of Memeland. Memeland's advisors include Gary Vee, CEO of VeeFriends, and Kevin Rose, CEO of Proof Collective and Moonbirds NFT Collection.
