Random Blog on Crypto (Part 53) : How can we make steem better (3. Add Placement on Website)
Steemit is a decentralized blogging based platform. This platform has its pros and cons, but as a decentralized blogging platform, I don't always like everything about it. Although I see some shortcomings in terms of DeFi development and its promotional activities, overall I always like the progress of Steem blockchain and the system is very nice that if we can get it to people, they will show their interest in this platform.
Steemit.com is a front end website of the Steem Blockchain where we do the blogging work. That is, the blogging we are doing using the internet is brought to us in the form of a website by this domain based website. All the other traditional blogging based social media based platforms basically put ads on their front end website all the time. After a website becomes popular, one of the main means of income is placing ads on different parts of that website. Since Steemit is not such a platform, no ads are placed on the website.
Seeing ads is a source of annoyance for many, but many still support the lack of an advertisement-based system on the blockchain. But I personally think a website with such good reach should actually collect some ads and they are very small in numbers. Few more expensive ads can be placed in different places of the website and the income that will come from the placement of the ad should be added to the income of Steem mining reward so that the income is mainly given to those who are users i.e. like commenters. There are some users who are commenting & posting and may not get upvotes, so there is no chance of getting any rewards. In this case, they can be benefited through auto voting on their posts. Or an equal number of votes can be given to all the posts of all the users so that everyone benefits. Again, any work can be done to increase the price of Steem Coins which will benefit everyone.

Thank you, friend!
I'm @steem.history, who is steem witness.
Thank you for witnessvoting for me.

The weight is reduced because of the lack of Voting Power. If you vote for me as a witness, you can get my little vote.
ad placement is the major source of revenue for most of the blogging website and steemit does not follow it. this is what makes steemit different.
Yep, thought of it a long time ago so I am glad someone agrees with me although there were little Ads at the bottom of all my posts unless they disappeared.
One thing that would occur, is the rate of interest on steem would go up and that would be like a dividend on stocks.
Therefore, the value of steem would rise solely based on the interest rate returned making steem inflation irrelevant.
Secondly, I just saw an Ad when I accidentally scrolled down, Steemit itself would have more money to make Steemit better.
For example, do we compete with Meta by creating a 3D interactive environment? Like mana world or whatever it is called?
Making the Steemit up, up, up!
Thirdly, It should be Microsoft D3D12 compatible because of all the render times I see with persons using other software. D3D12, or DirectX 12 is incredibly fast on the render by design. At least we should, have a Microsoft DirectX 12 section.
Good post
3D Interactive environment or any other such kind of initiative has to be taken to make it better and compitable for the future.
Thanks for your comment.
Since we're talking about improvements, down voting needs to go. I was about to get $50.68 for a post and as has happened to most of my posts some people down voted me to $39.16.
This happens to a lot of people.
This is the impact of true decentralization. But strong community has to be needed to protect from which kind of downvotes.
More precisely, Steemit would function and be more profitable if bot down votes were banned
All kinds of negative impact creating Bots has to be banned.
