METAMASK PROVIDING A SPACE FOR WEB3 ADOPTION
The feature has been implemented in partnership with a company called Spruce which is a digital identity and data provider. However, Metamask is not the first wallet to do this because Phantom with the first to do that. Phantom launched its equivalent feature on the Solana blockchain a few months ago. This is how the feature of the Internet is going to look and work and it is going to be a much more secure experience.
The NASDAQ stock exchange is planning to launch its crypto custody services by the end of June. They are finally getting big-time into the crypto game. Those plans were first announced back in September 2020 but now it is coming sooner rather than later. NASDAQ is going to be dipping its toes into the crypto custody services by laughing just with Bitcoin and Ethereum first like so many other services start off. NASDAQ following the footsteps of others like Fidelity, BNY lemon, and Black Rock. With both the collapse of the Silvagate and Signature, I can't help but wonder, was this the plan all along to bring crypto under the control of the big banks? The USA is happy to let Wall Street use crypto to transfer wealth from people to them but they don't all the different companies being allowed to provide services to people.
