On today's occasion I want to take part in a contest organized by the Steem for Lifestyle community I will try to answer the questions asked in this contest.

1. Why are you upset, what causes you to be depressed??

Depression is a complex condition that can be triggered by a variety of factors. I feel annoyed or depressed because of unresolved problems, such as interpersonal conflicts, work pressure and also financial problems. Apart from that, the inability to achieve my goals or unrealistic personal expectations can also cause feelings of depression. Biological factors such as brain chemical imbalances or genetics also play a role in causing depression. Stressful environments, lack of social support or emotional isolation can worsen this condition. Feelings of helplessness and loss of interest in previously enjoyable activities are also signs of depression. Prolonged stress and past trauma also often affect mental health. In some cases hormonal imbalances or sleep disorders can also affect mood. It is important to remember that depression is a medical condition that requires professional attention and treatment. Consultation with a mental health professional can help us understand the underlying causes and find effective ways to treat the problem.

2 What steps do you take to improve your mood when you are upset?

When I feel upset, the first step I take is to try to understand the source of the emotion. Being aware of the cause of anger or upset helps in managing it. After that, I usually do deep breathing techniques to calm my mind and body. Physical activity, such as walking or light exercise, is also effective for mood. Apart from that, I also found that talking to close friends or family can provide a new perspective and emotional support. Doing hobbies or activities that I enjoy, such as reading, writing or listening to my favorite music, also helps shift focus from negative feelings. Lastly, I try to practice relaxation techniques such as mediation or yoga which can provide calm and emotional balance.

3 What advice would you give to those who are very depressed to overcome their depression??

For those experiencing severe depression, it is most important first to seek professional help, such as a psychologist or psychiatrist. But cognitive behavior and if necessary medication can be very helpful. Don't hesitate to talk to those closest to you about your feelings, social support is invaluable. Try to maintain a healthy routine by getting enough sleep, eating well and doing light physical activity. Avoid isolation by staying connected to a community or a fun hobby. Remember the healing process takes time and patience. Keep believing that positive change is possible and support is always available.

Exactly, being able to identify the source of a problem helps in knowing how to handle the situation. Money problems really eat up one's mood and it's a good thing you know how to tackle it, not letting it escalate into depression.
