Hello everyone, thanks @okere-blessing for organizing this contest "Do you believe in prayers?"
Yes i do! Because, prayer is the force that changes things and the secret behind the renewal of destiny.
What is the meaning of prayer to you?
Prayer to me is the act of me communicating in reverent petition to a deity (which is God) especially as a petition in adoration, in contrition, in thanksgiving.
Do you think it's necessary to pray, and how many times should one pray?
Yes it's necessary to pray because, it is an expression of man's helplessness to God's ability but for the ones who have alternative means of getting things sorted out, there may not be need but for everyone who has the Almighty as his or her last terminal, prayer is a necessity.
Prayer is necessary to me because, I see it as culture that must be cultivated and to be too busy to pray is to be in a hurry to fail in life for the bible says,"the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much" (James 5:16). God's desire for us is that, we should pray without limit and we should pray without ceasing. Prayer is one of the things we should do and it can not be too much because it generates power.
Are there some supernatural things prayers can do?
Yes, in this life, it is the spiritual that control the physical because by strength shall no man prevail. (1 Samuel 2:9) of course, we know that there are manipulations and orchestrations of the enemy going on daily against believers and the most effective way to handle these elementary spirits is by effectiveness and efficiency in prayer and satanic transportations are brought to the barest minimum when our prayer network is activated.
There so many supernatural things prayers can do let me just mention few;
1.Madness: This is a spirit and is the work of the devil. It is an unclean spirit that makes a man feel good when he is dirty. It is through prayer that one can be free from it.
2.Ulcer: This affliction is from the devil but effective prayer can set one free from it.
3.Tuberculosis disgraced: This can make marriage unsuccessful with betterness in heart but prayer is the major motor to run a successful marriage free from tuberculosis disgraced and have a lovely family because when your spiritual antenna is low everything about that marriage will be low and with effective prayer, a died marriage can come back to life.
4.AIDS: This is what I have seen, a lady who graduated from school one week to National Youth service cops when to the hospital to visit her sister in-law who was dying of AIDS she prayed and anointed this woman to cut the story short, one week later the AIDS was not found in her blood again.
5.Business: Today business is not easy at all because when you are prayerless, your business will fall due to manipulations of the enemy going on daily.
6.Leadership: For a leader to win or a team to have victory, prayer is needed to add in the leadership ability.
7.Focus: For one to focus directly on he or her destiny or dream, prayer is needed to break every power that want to control spiritually. Example, in the bible, Mrs Potiphar make Joseph forsook his garment but not his destiny and dignity because he prayed.
Do you believe that unanswered prayer is caused by sin? If yes prove your answers, If otherwise back your answers up.

Jesus while hanging on the cross, prayed for all those still living in sin and even with those that are not born again was included in that prayer.
There is no prayer that don't have answer and lack of faith is what brings unanswered prayers. There are so many actions one can take that have alternative but, prayer has no alternative. Is not when the answer didn't come fast you now think there was no answer. Is ones faith that will bring the answer.
Conclusion: Jesus knew how to maximize the atmosphere of prayer to bring about results and as his people, He desires that we do more and I am convinced that if we push more into that place of fervency in prayer, there will be unprecedented results, beyond our imagination.
For this contest title to come, I believe that the cloud has moved and there is need for us to rise and move with the cloud. It is not the time for us to be at ease but the time for fervency in the place of prayer. It is not time to murmur or complain, but time to tarry more in prayer.
The more effectual we are in prayer, the more efficient our relationship with God. So be determined and we will come out Victorious.

There's no limit as to what God can do through prayers. Prayer is a spiritual thing, there are many things that God can do as a supernatural result of prayers that a natural man may not understand.
