INTRODUCTION

Steem greetings to every one. we are taking this contest today to share with the rest of the world elittle about our culture in cameroon. cameroon is made up of 244 or more ethnic groups meaning we have more than 244 different cultures in cameroon. we have different dressing, food, dance, woships etc. Today the aspect of our culture we share will be more about our food. we shall show some pictures and video .

Cameroon has different cultures and different foods, we are blessed with fertile soils and a very rich forest where locals carry out hunting so as to put food on thier table. Some hunters do hunting both for family consumtion and for sales to raise money to run the family. This video show that this hunter does hunting more for business.

Coming from the northwest region of Cameroon, our parent brought us up with local food. we enjoyed this food soo much so that we fine it difficult to stay away from home. Each village in Bamenda has their traditional dish.
the people of Mankon,Bambili, Nkwen,Bafut, and Bamenda 1 have the same traditiol dish which is what we localy call ACHU.

I personally come from Batibo were we are the largest producers of palm wine. Palm wine is the economic product of the people of batibo. The people of this area sponsor their children through school with money gotten from selling palm wine, we believe drinking more palm wine cleans the eyes and make you see clearer. This palm wine is 100% natural and very healthy for consumtion.

I travelled some African countries and did not see food as natural as we see on a daily in Cameroon. we are the largest food producers in central Africa but we are the poorest country in the sub region because of bad governance.

This is toasted fish and it is very popular in our area. It is a very big source of income to many people because they roast fish and sell at road side to sponsor their children and put food on their tables.
