The Croque Monsieur, which is essentially a grilled sandwich on steroids, starts things off.

First of all, isn't that a beautiful thing? I advise you to move on if you're on a diet. You shouldn't eat this sandwich.

Croque Monsieur literally translates to "gentleman's sandwich" from the terms "croquer," which means to bite, and "monsieur," which means mister.

It's meant for everyone to enjoy, not just the guys.

A grilled ham and cheese sandwich topped with Dijon mustard and a creamy bechamel sauce is called a croque monsieur.

Butter is used to cook the sandwich until it turns golden and toasted.

It is then covered with even more Bechamel, topped with cheese, and baked until the cheese spills.
