Roar - Drawing A Lion
Hi all!
Today, I share with you latest ballpoint pen drawing showing the aggressive manner of this annimal. It looks angry and ferocious as it faces upwards and roars to the scare away other animals.
Observe how the squiggles, scattered strokes, and quick short lines work closely to create something tangible. I created this piece with a blue ballpoint pen. My steps are below:

This is very nice! Question: are the darkest shadows done in black ink? or are they super dark but only the buildup of blue ink?
I make use of two different blue inks. One is light blue and the other is deep blue.
The light blue ink is used for outline sketching and rendering lighter tones while the deep blue is used for achieving deeper and darker tones easily.
A combination of both makes the work easier for me.
you can't argue with those results!
