Poetry - Summer Arrives and Shadows Flee

The sun it rises for all to see
Summer arrives, the shadows flee
Bees buzz and butterflies flit
From flower to flower as they see fit

Trees adorned with leaf green stems
Shooting forth buds
Every year the same
responding to the rains and warm sun rays
The meadows and flowers enjoy the haze.

Flocks of birds fly to and fro
enjoying the season their wings well know
Some arrive from far off shores
others adapt to the changing seasons
they know how to provide for their young
building their nests, together, under the sun.

Man and nature share the same space
under the clouds and under the place
where we were meant to abide
in Gods grace.

Finding the balance of work and play
Finding new meaning in work day by day
Embracing Gods people on Gods own earth
Calling it home awaiting it's rebirth.
