Introduction

If you’re tired of people you don’t know adding you to groups you don’t want to be in this is how to restrict them.

Groups have so much spam, and on any day that’s just so annoying. So because of this before anyone should add you to any group, you should be aware of it and they should have your consent to do so.

WhatsApp has a privacy settings that you can use to stop people you don’t know (people who are not in your phone’s contact list) from adding you into groups without your consent.

In this tutorial I show you how to set this privacy settings.

How to...

1. Open WhatsApp and go to settings

1. Go to Account

1. Go to Privacy

1. Go to Groups

1. Select the privacy settings of your choice; everyone, my contacts, my contacts except...
   The my contacts except... allows you to filter down your contact list; those contacts you select here cannot add you to groups.

Voila [Vwa-Lah]!!
