What is cancer:

Definition

It is a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body.

How can it spread in our body:

• When cancer cells break away from a tumor, they can travel to other parts of the body through the bloodstream or the lymph system.
• When this blood flow in our different parts of the body it cause tumor in these parts in this way cancer spread in our body.

Symptoms of cancer:

• Some of the symptoms that cancer may cause include:

• Breast changes!

• Lump or firm feeling in your breast or under your arm

• Nipple changes or discharge

• Bladder changes

• Trouble urinating

• Pain when urinating

• Blood in the urine

• Bleeding or bruising, for no known reason

• Bowel changes

• Blood in the stools

• Changes in bowel habits

• Eating problems

• Pain after eating (heartburn or indigestion that doesn’t go away)

• Trouble swallowing

• Belly pain

• Appetite changes

• Fatigue that is severe and lasts

• Fever or night sweats for no known reason

• Bleeding, pain, or numbness in the lip or mouth

• Neurological problems

• Headaches

• Seizures

• Vision changes

• Hearing changes

• Drooping of the face

• Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)

• Weight gain or weight loss for no known reason.
  These are the symptoms of the cancer.
  After noted these symptoms your should go to your doctor for treatment
  f you are careless, you will suffer the consequences.

Treatment of cancer:

There are many types of cancer treatment.
The type of the treatment depends upon the condition.
Some people with cancer will have only one treatment.
But most people have a combination of treatments, such as surgery with chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.

Chemotherapy:

Chemotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses drugs to kill cancer cells.
In this treatment different chemical or drugs are used for treatment.
Hormone Therapy
Hormone therapy is a treatment that slows or stops the growth of breast and prostate cancers that use hormones to grow.
In this treatment different hormones produced in our body these hormones Target on the affected cells and stope the growth of these cells.

Immunotherapy:

Immunotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that helps your immune system fight cancer.
In this type our immune system is help to fight with cancer cells.
Our immune system is activated with the help of drugs so it fight with cancer cells and stope the growth of these cells.

Radiation Therapy:

Radiation therapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses high doses of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors.
For this treatment alfa ,beta and gama radiation are used.
These radiation are fall on affected part of the body and kill these cells or stop them to spread in our body parts.

Stem Cell Transplant:

Stem cell transplants are procedures that restore blood-forming stem cells in cancer patients who have had theirs destroyed by very high doses of chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

Surgery:

Surgery is a procedure in which a surgeon removes cancer from your body.
In it affected cells remove from the body through surgery.

Targeted Therapy:

Targeted therapy is a type of cancer treatment that targets the changes in cancer cells that help them grow, divide, and spread.

• It is similar to radiation therapy.

At the end:

It is very dangerous disease the awareness about this disease is very necessary.
It is very common in Pakistan it is spread very fastly due ignorance and unawareness.
The awareness about this control the spread of my this disease.
And treatment is also necessary at the beginning of it is spread it difficult to control.
In Pakistan there are many hospital for the treatment of cancer.
The most famous hospital is Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.

There are many other hospital in our country for cancer treatment.
