#CONTEST | Tell us about your last summer camp/ vacations? | Nomination from @sampu | My 2021 Summer trip to Nepal

Last Summer, I had visited Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal. It was a trip for 12 days - Kolkata to Kolkata.

We were 8 person's team - Abhishek, Ambar, Ankita, Binoy, Kathakali, Tapas, Ujjwal, and myself Sampat.

Let me share the details-

01-Apr-2021 - Day 1 - We begin out trip from Kolkata by train.

02-Apr-2021 - Day 2 - We reached Sitamarhi, then boarded another connecting train to Raxaul. Then we cross the international boarder to reach Birgunj in Nepal. We boarded a bus to Kathmandu.

03-Apr-2021 - Day 3 - We reached Kathmandu, take a flight to Pokhra. We were fortunate to have an amazing view of Himalayas from the flight. From Pokhra, we got the necessary permit for the trek to hired an SUV to reach Ghandruk.

04-Apr-2021 - Day 4 - We trekked from Ghandruk to Chomrong for around 9.4km and gained altitude from 1,940m to 2170m .

05-Apr-2021 - Day 5 - We trekked from Chomrong to Dovan for approximate 10.5km to gain altitude from 2,170m to 2,579m .

06-Apr-2021 - Day 6 - It was a trek of 8km from Dovan to Deurali and altitude increased from 2,579m to 3,699m.

07-Apr-2021 - Day 7 - We trekked for 8km from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp, the height gain was 3,699m to 4,125m.

08-Apr-2021 - Day 8 - The breathtaking sunrise from Annapurna Base Camp left us stunned. It was a trek of 12km from Annapurna Base Camp to Himalaya.

09-Apr-2021 - Day 9 - We trekked 18km today to reach Jhinu from Himalaya.

10-Apr-2021 - Day 10 - We came back to Pokhra. Did some shopping and had party.

11-Apr-2021 - Day 11 - We had paragliding. It was a marvelous experience. Spent the evening exploring Pokhra. Board an overnight bus to Birgunj

12-Apr-2021 - Day 12 - Reached Birgunj early morning. Crossed border and entered in India. Board train from Raxaul. Reached Kolkata the next morning.
