This contest is primarily to share your life with no IT. IT is the short form for information technology. Information technology is the use of hardware, software components, infrastructure, and processes to undergo information processing cycle to enable exchange of electronic data.

Information technology is actively involved in the processing of data by computers. Before 1978, there were only a few computers available to perform complicated calculations. This information technology was invented when computers were applied to indexing and sorting written information.

It has greatly brought change to the world. The aim of globalization was achieved by the evolution of IT equipment and software developed by experts. Communication was also difficult between intra and inter-country people, until computers were developed to break this daily stress on society. People found it difficult to disseminate information, which slowed economic activity within and between countries.

How Globalization is Achieved by IT

People around the world was not communicating and could not share information until the idea of IT come to break that bridge between the people. When development of internet was successful, people were able to publish their works and books to the net. As result, the aim of globalization was halve achieved.

This globalization was achieved when they further advanced to develop IT software and system to make communication effective between people around the globe. Like the first social app, six degrees developed in 1997. It was to enable users to make friendship with others by uploading a profile. Others advanced mobile and web applications like facebook, twitter, whatsapp …… are develop to enable this easy communication between people.

We all grew up in societies where there were a countable number of IT gadgets. But now there are billions of these gadgets to ease the work of humans. I'm on Steemit now, and I found you through IT. We carry out our daily activities online through the power of IT. This world could not have been interesting without IT.

But for myself, I would have seen this world as a village, boring and a prison for the people. And once said by a lecturer, "no place in this world is a village if you have access to the internet." People sit in their houses, share, transact, and know what is happening in other places through the idea of IT.
