Educating About Terrorism

Terrorism is a term for when people resort to violence in order to enforce their opinions or beliefs on others by spreading fear. It is generally a tactic of the uneducated and the brain-washed, since any person who is sane would know better.
All around the world, this has always been an issue at some point. Even though the efforts of diminishing terrorism have proven to be quite effective at present, it has not been completely wiped out yet.

In our country, there used to be a time when terrorism was at its peak. People feared to leave their homes and avoided it as much as possible since the death toll constantly used to increase due to this abhorrent practice, and terrorists sunk their level to the lowest extent when they even planned and carried out a school shooting. It was thanks to the operation of General Raheel Shareef which was known as “Zarb-e-Azb” that this problem was brought under control by the army.

Ever since 9/11, the world has mostly put the blame of this problem on the shoulders of Muslims, and has begun to stereotype them as terrorists. Even though it is sadly true that terrorism mostly does happens in Muslim majority areas, but it should also be understood that this is due to lack of education; no religion instructs its followers to opt for violent ways to prove their point.

Since all the Muslim hate began, uneducated people of non-Muslim areas also began to do exactly what they accuse Muslims of doing when they carried out a mosque shooting, as well as when they ran over an innocent Muslim family with a taxi.

Terrorism is a problem which arises whenever a person is not capable enough to convince others with the power of their logic and knowledge. It has no association with any religion, race, or any specific group of people. It can intoxicate whoever lacks morals, knowledge, and empathy. Therefore, in order to completely demolish the problem of terrorism, we must never stop educating ourselves and others, and teach and convince the future generation to do the same.
