SIZ CONTEST ||SHARE YOUR FAVORITE HOBBY || 50 STEEM PRIZE POOL
Contest Organised by @suboohi
My curiosity has made solving of puzzles top in the list of my hobbies. An obsession that grew into Cryptoanalisis.
It all started with simple sliding puzzles to jigsaw puzzles, then to anagrams, crossword puzzles and rubic's Cubes. I still play "4 pics 1 word" on my phone. The real challenge is attempting to decrypt a cypher-text without a key. This is liken to an attempt to broke the MEʹNE-MEʹNE puzzle at Daniel 5:25-28..
Let's take them one after the other.
- Sliding Puzzle
The aim is to slide the scattered pieces into a configuration that provides the complet image or arrange the numbers in the right sequence. The board makes it impossible to remove and arrange the pieces. You must slide them into position and the only free space is what allows movement. I use this to slide away the time spent commuting in a bus.
- jigsaw puzzles
In this game, you are expected to put the pieces together till the full image is obtained. You may have to sink huge amount of time into this puzzle. So it's a good idea to take it along when you will have to spend some time waiting at an appointment. It's relaxing because there is no competition, it's only you, your thoughts and the pieces of the puzzle.
- Crossword puzzle
In a crossword puzzle, you are given an arrangement of boxes, into which you are to input words and at some point the words will cross over another word.
- Rubic's Cubes
You solve this puzzle by rotating each face on the cube till all side have a single colour.
- Anagrams
This is a puzzle that requires pulling out as many words as can be obtained from the alphabet in a given word. For an example, I will use the word ANAGRAM.
From here I can get gram, man, grama and agama. They are available as phone apps
- 4 pics 1 word
Is a puzzle that runs as an app on a phone. You are provided with four pictures and you are expected to give one word that describes all four pictures.
My desire to break a code, reveal a secret, unravelling a mystery or decipher, decode or decrypt resulted in my studying computer science where cryptology and it's components like cryptography, Cryptoanalisis and steganography are my favourite. It may look like an odd hobby, but that I what I love doing. Hoping to unravel the mystery locked in hieroglyphic.
Special thanks to @veta-less for inspiration in matters of painting and art
