If you are a student, you will really love this app and you can learn to love mathematics through this app.
I know a good number of people do not like the idea of solving mathematics. I personally channel all the blame to our Mathematic teachers and all the people who go about paralyzing us with tells of how difficult mathematics is.

I can asure you that mathematics is much simpler when compared with English. At the list we have formulas that serves as guide to correctly solving a Mathematical problem any time. We don't have the equipment of a formula in English. Instead we have rules of exceptions.

before we stray too far from the topic and get lost in an "English-sand-storm" I was about showing a tool that will make you child's mathematics homework feel as easy as a walk in a park.
You will obtain solutions to problems with just one tap on your phone. And you don't really need to spend data at all. You will not have to worry about typing in the problem or reading it, just show it to the phone and you get the answer and not just the answer, but you also get the full working and the explanations for each step.

The application is called photomaths. You can download it from play store. Install it on your phone and this is it's icon

How to use it

Load the app an you will get this screen.

The app could only read typed text but this update is capable of reading your Handwriting. So I will write down this maths problem on a piece of paper

I will act as if I want to snap the paper, thereby showing the app the math problem.

It captures the problem and generates an answer as you can see.

I can now click here on the explain steps button to get a full step by step working for the problem with explanatory notes. Alternatively, you may drop the arrows at the right of each step for specific explanations.

Note: You can activate the calculator on photomaths if you prefer entering the data yourself. You may also need it for editing, if Photomaths failed to capture the mathematical problems correctly.

Microsoft Mathematics will do this for you on a computer system. So you may install it and see for yourself.

You don't have to know how it's called for you to get it solved by Photomaths. Just let the app capture the equations.

The red button can be used to capture the problem

Photomaths has solved the problem and it's informing you that there are six different methods for solving this problem. Which are:

• Substitution Method
• Elimination Method
• Comparison Method
• Gauss Jourdan Method
• Matrix Method

You can explore through the various methods. And follow their solution steps.
