Commonly pronounced as IT, it actually refers to Information Technology. It surrounds computing technology, the internet, networking, software and hardware or anything which is used while dealing with this type of technology or method. In the past few decades as IT advancements were made, people lost their jobs. They lost it because the tasks were accomplished efficiently through the use of IT-related products. The only reason behind it was efficiency and a bigger reason was a revolution. The thought of Artificial Intelligence overtaking humans is not quite wrong. In China, when you order your food in a restaurant, you can see robots working as waiters serving it. Many such examples are real today that was considered just a myth many decades ago.

What Could Happen Tomorrow?

Today we are surrounded by machines, drones replaced a pilot with a camera man and net cafes have been replaced with screens in every hand. Though life is becoming efficient to deal with, what would actually happen in future if we do not consider all the possible consequences is the real concern here. ?

The movies we saw as Transformers where flying cars were shown and an automobile used to transform itself into a walking robot named as auto-bot is actually happening now. Collaborations of renowned companies are transforming the vehicle industries so much that as you enter into a car, all you see is a seat but with communication, the installed AI systems turn all the screens in front of you and the car drives itself on its own; just through your instructions.

Humanoid Robots

Sofia; the renowned automated humanoid robot is a milestone in the IT and AI departments. It is expected to get smarter with time because AI enables it to process more data and interlink it with previous ones to help in conversations. Such robots are present in the industry today. People who are quite fond of trying a different lifestyle are enjoying their intimate relationships with female or male robots which they bought or built. According to them, they now do not feel the need for any living partner as their robot understands them even better than any human can ever have. Many critics do target their way of spending life but that’s what evolution is doing to the human race nowadays.

Personalized medications can now be prescribed to individuals and drug-making procedures that took many years has now been shrinking to months where databases and IT plays their major role. The development of twin scanners has revolutionized the era as it is able to identify biomarkers within a short span of time, stores the image and multiple scans can be used to see the changes within patients regarding their ailment for assistance in control and management

Blind people

Blind people would be able to have sight without implants as Australian university researchers were working on developing glasses Called Bionic Eyes with cameras where signals were sent to the brain to give the user the illusion of sight and vision. Apart from that, living robots are being made which would be able to swim across human bodies in future to deliver medicine using stem cells of frog embryos. This targeted therapy would be able to reach its peak through the use of IT as it would direct its usage.

Spermbots

Spermbots gives new hope for sterile male individuals who do not have mobile sperm cells and cannot assist their partner to conceive a baby. Through the use of IT, such couples would be able to have a pregnancy without going through procedures as their sperms would be engineered into a metallic coil and hence would be directed to the egg for fertilization through controlled systems.

The revolution just does not stop there; the idea of replacing humans with robots would change the entire mechanism of this world. Soldiers have the heart to feel and a mind to analyze, robots through AI and IT has made many advancements, still won’t be able to replace human. However, as IT enhances AI, robots would surely overrule humans. If they get smart enough with time, they will be able to understand that humans are controlling them.

AI would enable them to become rebellious turning our servants into our tyrant rulers who can never be killed. Not just that, an army of robots can actually prove to be destructive because what if the opponent country hacks our AI systems and uses them against our own country? Nobody can answer such complexities. However, the IT firm is way too attractive to ignore all the possibilities of ignoring these odds for now but ignorance can prove to be detrimental for our world and put an end to the human race.
