Ghana produces a variety of crops in various climatic zones which range from wet forest mostly around east-west of the country to the dry Savannah which is in the northern sector.
Mining also plays a very good key role in the economy of ghana. Mining accounts for 5% of the countries GPD.Ghana is one of the major africa's gold producer. One of it popular mining site is obuasi gold mine.

Ghana has so many tourist attraction which i think it would be best experiencing if one visits the country.
EDUCATION: before the arrival of the europeans into ghana the form of education the people had was informal, which is simply explained as apprenticeship. So the europeans were the ones that introduced formal education into the country.
Ghana's education system is didved into three categories which is basic education, senior high education and lastly the tertiary education.
The number of illiteracy since the introduction of the formal education has reduced drastically. Currently as in ghana now almost 7 out 10 people are educated. Even though some are not able to be educated up to the tertiary level but most ghanaians are able to make it up to the senior high level of education.
Some of the well recognised educational institutions in ghana are the kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology university of Ghana and university for development studies.
