SIZ CHARITY CONTEST-Contributing to making this world a better place

Hello everyone ,

Many thanks goes to @siz-official for this amazing contest.About making this world a better place.

As a person my main aim has always been about Making a difference everywhere I find myself.and with the act of giving to charity , for the first time I think im a step closer to achieving this goal.

As the saying goes

”Your greatness is not about what you have it’s what you give”

We the members of Steem Ghana based in Tamale decided to make a little donation to the Tamale children’s home in Nyohani.

As a group we had everything scheduled, we made a little contributions and decided to buy some food stuffs and soft drinks to be given to the Children’s home.

As John Bunyan said-:

“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”

Unlike others some people weren’t fortunate to meet their or have parents, some lost their mothers at birth and got to see their Dad for a bit and loose them too, some people we dumped on the streets by their parents and so on and also they’re people out there with disabilities which derive them from working to earn a living.So it is always important for to try as much as possible with the little we have to give back to the less privileged.

After Buying everything as planned we went on to the the Tamale children’s home to make our donation.

When we got there we went on and met with the person in charge and made the donation
Which was then displayed and we took pictures.

We were then taken round the orphanage to see how the environment looks like and also some of the children.

I know what it feels like to be without a father ,I lost my father a few months ago ,but I feel that at least I’m grown up and I can be able to cater for myself. but most of those kids out there are too young and also have no parents at all to look after them . Steemit has done a very good job in lifting me up and changing my life so with the little I get from steemit ,I have to help lift the less privileged .

I will like to use to thank all those who were involved in this good endeavor. without their support this charity wouldn’t have gone through may the almighty richly bless you all.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank the founders,curators,admins,country reps for their support to us in the Steem and @siz-official for this amazing initiative to make this world a better place.
