Hi fellow steemers, If not all of us most of us have tried taking a type of tea before. Being a Ghanaian, growing up tea was the ultimate breakfast which influenced the calling of some beverages tea. In this contest i will be talking about green tea and its benefits to the human body.

Green tea which is known as camellia sinensis in the scientific world was discovered way back 2737 B.C in Asia(china). How it was discovered was a coincidence as some history books say it. The discovery occurred when a Chinese emperor named ShenNung drunk water which had a dead leaf which had been boiled in it. The taste of the water caught his attention and has now resulted in the global exposure of this wonderful product of nature. It can be prepared in several ways but its mostly boiled in water and taken warm.
The benefits of green tea are numerous that if we are to go through them, it can take the revolution of the planet earth and we will still not be done. however I'm going to talk about a few which will benefit us. Be my guest as i take you through.
To begin with, i will like to talk about how green tea aids in longevity of cells in the human body. As a youth and considering how vibrant my age mates and i turn out to be active, we stress our cells to the extreme so if one start to take green tea from an early stage of life he tends to live longer which scientists came outwith a confirmation that the cells of regular green tea users have a younger biological age than non-drinkers.
Also, green tea helps to prevent the skin from aging. This is good news for people who don’t take matters associated to the skin lightly especially ladies. Its so confusing that a common leaf can be a guardian to the skin but it has what it takes. They have polyphonels(i.e micro nutrients) that protects the skin from ultraviolet(UV) light and offers special help in fighting cancer and other anti-inflammatory diseases.
Furthermore, green tea helps balance blood sugar and prevent diabetes. The human body and mindset is structured in such a way that we always have a taste for good and sweet things and in doing so put our health at risk. A little advice, whenever you take sugar make sure you balance it with green tea to reduce your chances of getting diabetes.
Lastly, the foundation of the human anatomy all comes down to the skeletal system which is the bone component of the body. And guess what? The bone has a very low chance of fracture and inflammation around the joints when one takes green tea.

In conclusion Green tea has a lot of health benefits as i stated earlier and it will be very helpful if it can be taken regularly. It goes a long way from just a food or drink to a medicine since it has the ability to do what some medicines in various pharmacies do and it being natural is another plus to it.
I will like to thank @siz-official for this wonderful contest and i will like to invite @zology69, @desiigner and @abdulkahargunu to join this contest.
