What is Steem?

Steem is cryptocurrency that is used at steemit to increase the power of steemit. At steemit users make quality contest post and get rewarded by steemit platform. Then the reward is provided in the form of steem. Which is used in power up and boost up of your steem.

What is Steem Power up?

Steem power up is powering up of your steem rewards into steem power. Steem power (SP) can only be done by steem not by the steem dollars (SBD). And after powerup your account become strong and people will be more attracted towards your account. Then steem curators will as well start curating and up voting your posts. It plays important role at steemit platform. If you have not enough steem then you can change your steem dollars into steem and power up your account.

Powering up process

Let's start the power up:

Login

• I login my account with private posting key. You should take care of your steem keys because they are important in loging in process.

Wallet

• Then I open my wallet and there appear a page where steem, steem power and other icons appear as shown in image.

Icons

• Then with steem there is small triangle. I clicked on it and then appear a list of icons.

• Then I click on the power uo icon to proceed the process of power.

Add Steem Amount

• The next page appear and there was the option of adding number of steem and I have total 16 steem which I am going to power up.

Confirmation of Steem Amount

• The new page appear where we have to confirm the amount of steem by clicking on "Ok" button.

Login With Active Key

• After confirmation there is the last step of power up is to login with your active posting key. But you can also use owner and master key for login.

• Here are images of steem and steem power after powering up. I successfully done my 2nd power up Alhamdulilah.

• There is a notification of power up and transfer of power up to my account.
