SIZ Weekend - Visiting the Sate Apaleh Geurugok Culinary Place in Aceh Province

Assalamualaikum. Hello SIZ friends, I hope you are always in good health and blessed.

The weekend is indeed a very fun day, on this occasion I will share a story about our activities this weekend in the month of Ramadan. We took a trip to break our fast together by enjoying the culinary delights of sate apaleh in geurugok. Sete Apaleh geurugok is located on Jalan Lintas Sumatra, Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh, Kede Lapang, Gandapura District, Bireun Regency, in Aceh Province.

On the weekend we left for the city of Bireun to enjoy a vacation, we traveled by car via the Sumatra Cross road, Medan-Banda Aceh Road. There were 4 people who took part in this trip, our first goal was to visit a shop called PobiPhoneStore and then break the fast together by enjoying culinary delights at the geurugok of Bireun City.

In the afternoon under the hot sun we traveled to the city of Bireun for 2 hours from the city of Lhokseumawe. On the way we encountered traffic jams, we also passed several villages and sub-districts.

After passing through various obstacles, we finally arrived at the city of Bireun, we stopped at one of the mobile phone shops, namely PobiPhoneStore, to buy mobile technology equipment, in this shop selling various kinds of luxurious and high-quality cellphones. After buying a cellphone, we continued our journey to geurugok to break the fast together.

Arriving at geurugok at the Sate Apaleh Geurugok culinary place, here we were warmly welcomed and served with culinary food, namely satay. Sate Apaleh geurugok is one of the famous culinary delights in Aceh Province. Sate is a special culinary menu in breaking the fast, we are also served with cakes and cucumber juice drinks, when it is time to break the fast we eat this dish with gratitude.

After breaking the fast and eating with this culinary food, it was time for Maghrib prayer, we headed to one of the mosques around this place to perform the Maghrib prayer. After the Maghrib prayer, we immediately continued our journey back to the city of Lhokseumawe.
