Principles of Meal Management:

It is very important to plan carefully before arranging food for any time, because always planning ahead not only saves unnecessary expenses but also saves time and energy for the housewife.
The following points must be kept in mind when managing food ;
(01) Number Of Family Members:

The amount of food should not be so high that it is extravagant, nor should all the people who are so low eat to their full potential. Rather, food should be prepared in adequate quantities at all times so that everyone's stomach is satisfied and food is not wasted.

(02) Age:

The diet should be arranged keeping in mind the age of each person living at home and special meals should be included for the patients.

(03) Food Budget:

The income from the household budget should be managed within the amount allocated for food and efforts should not be made to exceed it.

(04) Availability of Food:

Foods should be selected keeping in view the climate and economic conditions of your area so that there is no hindrance in their availability.

(05) Like and Dislike:

It is very important to take care of the likes and dislikes of the family so that the time spent at the table is pleasant and everyone can enjoy.

(06) Social Racial and Religious Preferences:

People of different races and religions have their own food preferences. It is important to take special care of these preferences when managing food.

(07) Activities:

Every person living in a family has different hobbies. Young children have different nutritional needs and college going students have different nutritional needs. Thus, if a child participates in sports activities, his needs will be different from those of other children his age.
