Rescue Diary - Merry Christmas -a last minute drive to give 3 rescued puppies a new home

One of my dog rescue friends in California put out a urgent plea to help three rescued puppies get a ride from Phoenix over to near the New Mexico border ASAP. How could I say no after a look at those faces 😀
Meet Thor, Loki and Vega (2 boys and a girl).

What better Christmas gift than to deliver them to their foster home until they can be adopted into forever homes which hopefully won't take long. At least they will be safe and loved 💖
I saw a FB posting from my transport coordinator friend about these 3 pups needing an ASAP transport to the foster home. "Just a few hundred miles 🤣" so a perfect excuse for a road trip with my family.
Just a few months old but active and ready to roll for the 4 hour ride.

They were attached to each other and spent most of the time cuddled together in the back but it was nice to hold each one for awhile to enjoy their soft sweetness

Lulu wasn't thrilled to share her day (again!!!) with rescue dogs but they're puppies so it wasn't that bad

Eat, sleep, piddle - then repeat for the next couple of hours and then it was time for them to settle in to their new foster home and get a bit older and ready for adoption in the new year.

Plenty of company to keep Thor, Loki and Vega amused and busy should they get tired of wrestling each other.

Merry Christmas and many wishes for a Happy New Year with new families to spend many happy years with.
