Local beliefs about three(3) pets(puppy,pig,cat) in Cross river state , Nigeria by @sparku22

I greet you all fellow steemians and I hope your enjoying your day, it's another interesting contest that I couldn't miss and I wouldn't want you to miss too. Below are my entries of the local believe about three pets namely Dog,pig and cat.

I love dog as my pet because it's jst like a mini human.but in Cross River especially Calabar were I based, dogs are been know for their security and mainly for meat because of the rate of criminalism in the city but even with the good work of this pet,the still brought up a belief that the dog exhibit the character of a witch,Reason that the dog sees ghost at night and normally any creature that sees dead things is actually not normal. The fear was that the ghost they see are restless so the might decide to posses them and make them cause havock.

So when I bought an English dog knowing fully well that it was not lyk other dogs that eat faeces and behaves strange,my parents kicked again the feeding of the dog due to their belief,so the dog since not been taken care of, had to run away to feed himself and was later killed by the vigilantes in the area.

Pig is another pet that I loved feeding because of their unique behavior and a delicious meal when cooked with their meat,but people in Cross River especially people around me for the fact that pigs do dig up sucker way to eat faeces of man which is a metabolic way from human and it's was known to be harmful. So one day all left, became stray pigs and never came back.oooh my lovely pigs.

Every were in my country,the cat is been disliked for numerous reasons but in my locality its worst that it's name that God created it with has been changed from (cat to witch) and for that case even the good one had to run into hiding too not to be killed, the believe was too strong because everything about the the cat portrail the devil, their eyes, ears, character etc.
