INTRODUCTION 😁

Good day my lovers of the pet kingdom. I'm very delighted to make my entry in this fantastic contest by @fur-friends community which is all about pets/animals and how they're been viewed and treated.Well I've not really paid much attention to how people view most pets here in umuahia but I can for sure write something about these 3 pets cause I am supposed to have really understood the way people here view most animals. Well people have different perception about a particular pet or animal but I'm gonna be talking about my localities view

The 3 animals are : Cat, Goat and Dog.

DOMESTIC CAT 🐈

The cat is a carnivorous mammal which only species in the cat family that are domesticable are kept as pets. (Wikipedia)

I know quiet a lot of people (busines inclined especially) cause that have cats at their shops or homes.

Views Of Cats In My Locality

🐈Cats are viewed in both the positive and negative knowledge based on my observations.Its either they're used as security pets against rodents that eat up useful materials at home or shops.They can be a warning signal and as well protective to the owners. There's this believe that cats either chase out evil spirits of contain them cause they're kinda spiritual pets (😺I know it sounds crazy but true..pets are spiritual) .

How Cats Are Treated

Most people here view cats as a sweet meat (white meat) and that's true though I've not but hope someday I would summon the courage. People love them and they're being sold as cheap as #3000 or #1,000. Someone can keep a cat at home then wake up some day to eat up and get another.In summary about cats, well ,they're treated with mixed feelings based on the domesticator.... 😆

GOATS 🐐

There are so much breeds of goats but for sure we have domesticable ones. Goat comes from the animal familie :- Caprinae. Here in Africa, Nigeria ,Eastern axis we have a goat tagged as a tribal goat. Oh my God, the meat is delicious 😋 and yummy with a dilute of cold palm wine.

Views Of Goats In My Locality.

Iust say generally and majorly eastern part of Nigeria..goats are viewed as occasional, seasonal meats. They're as well seen as a very good animal for rituals but I still don't know the reason and I'm yet to find out.They as well have this Ideology that a goat brings good luck about marriage or any major thing that why every typical Igbo man had at least 2 goats in his compound.

How Goats Are Treated.

Goats here are treated good. Some people let loose theirs to walk about,find something to eat and still come back while some tie theirs in the compound and provide grasses every morning for them to eat and as well at night.Though they're normally fed to be killed not out negative impression but normally it's for business purposes or pleasure (occasion ).

DOGS.

They're still carnivorous mammals that have so many breeds even african breeds.. 😆 well dogs are said to be man's best friend because of people could rarely trust their fellow humans so instead they get a dog as a pet and teach them so much then confide in them and it works for them..I personally love dogs, you could say I'm a dog freak but at the first time for most dogs I'm scared to touch them until when I'm able to control them sometimes with the help of the owner.

Views Of Dogs In My Locality.

They're viewed as a companion.
They're viewed as security animals.
They're viewed as demons in the spiritual sense (it's just one of those nonchalant ideologies) how can a dog be a winch or demon something created by God..Demon have not finished possessing humans then it's now dogs
They're used to see spirits anyways (the urine of a dog helps for spiritual issues) not that I have tried but I guess it's true.

How Dogs Are Treated.

They are very much loved and really fed well though it's based on the owner.I know a lot of people who has a dog amongst any other pet.T

CONCLUSION

Pets really act or behave the way you treat them especially dogs (these creatures are very intelligent 🧠 than man in a way)
